Georg Bock von Wülfingen (administrative lawyer)

Georg Wulbrand Ernst Hermann Julius Bock von Wülfingen (born December 29, 1822 in Burgstemmen , † April 29, 1905 in Hanover ) was a German administrative lawyer of the 19th century.

Life

Georg Bock von Wülfingen came from the Hanoverian nobility family Bock von Wülfingen and was the son of Major Friedrich Bock von Wülfingen and his wife Elisabeth. From 1844 he studied law at the University of Göttingen, where he became a member of the Corps Hannovera . After the state examinations, he entered the Hanoverian civil service and became a councilor, as such he became a Prussian civil servant with the annexation of Hanover by Prussia in 1866 and finally retired.

He has also been Erbdrost and Erbkämmerer of 1813 to the Kingdom of Hanover belonging Principality of Hildesheim .

family

On September 12, 1854 he married in Lehe the Johanne Marie Heloise (born December 13, 1832 in Wittlage ; † 12 November 1901 in Hannover), daughter of Friedrich Ernst Oster Meyer and Wilhelmine (Emmy) Christine Amalie Müldner, a cousin of Charles Müldner of Mülnheim . The marriage resulted in two children, a daughter and a son:

  • Anna Wilhelmine Marie Friederike Bock von Wülfingen (born June 30, 1855 in Lehe, † February 14, 1941 in Hanover), married Carl Axel Melchior Freiherr von Wachtmeister on Björkö (born December 13, 1846 in Friedenthal / Mark; † May 16, 1909 in Hanover), royal Prussian lieutenant colonel a. D., son of Carl Vilhelm Elof Freiherr von Wachtmeister and Agnes Wilhelmine Marie Elise inheritance law zu Bülow.
  • Friedrich Georg Adolph Wulbrand Bock von Wülfingen (born August 24, 1856 in Lehe; † January 1, 1931 in Ascona ) last Erbdrost and treasurer of the Principality of Hildesheim 1915-1918, married in Elze on March 22, 1908 Isabella Bock von Wülfingen, divorced Lappe (* November 25, 1863 in Achterberg ; † March 27, 1930 in Ascona).

A brother of Georg, Heinrich Hermann Karl Johann Bock von Wülfingen (* March 30, 1831 in Burgstemmen; † May 9, 1898 in Hanover) married a sister-daughter of his sister-in-law, Clara Wilhelmine Caroline (* January 9, 1898 in Hanover) on April 20, 1875 1851 in Beverstedt ; † October 27, 1925 in Hanover), daughter of Hermann Christian August Camman and Wilhelmine Charlotte Friederike Johanne Auguste Ostermeyer.
