Georg Hinterwinkler
Georg Hinterwinkler (born January 31, 1857 in Untereschlbach ; † August 14, 1915 in Straubing ) was a Catholic clergyman and a member of the German Reichstag .
Life
Hinterwinkler attended the humanistic grammar school in Landshut from 1870 to 1878 , then studied Catholic theology in Regensburg until 1883 and was ordained a Catholic priest on July 1, 1883. Afterwards he was chaplain in Au bei Freising until 1887 , preacher of the city of Straubing until 1896 and from 1896 city pastor and district school inspector in Plattling . He fulfilled his military duties as a one-year volunteer in the 11th Bavarian Infantry Regiment von der Tann in Regensburg.
From 1899 to 1907 he was a member of the Bavarian Chamber of Deputies and from 1903 to 1912 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Niederbayern 5 ( Deggendorf , Regen , Viechtach , Kötzting ) and the German Center Party .
