Bernard Georg Kellermann (born October 11, 1776 in Freckenhorst , † March 29, 1847 in Münster ) was a German theologian and elected Catholic bishop .

Kellermann came from a humble background, but thanks to church support he was able to attend the Paulinum grammar school in Munster and study Catholic theology after graduating from high school . In 1801 he became private tutor to Friedrich Leopold zu Stolberg-Stolberg . He was ordained a priest on August 2, 1802 and was pastor of various parishes in Münster. So he came to the Servatiikirche in 1812 and was parish dean at the Ludgerikirche from 1817 to 1840 and at the same time from 1823 to 1847 cathedral preacher. At the instigation of the bishop he took over a professorship for New Testament exegesis at the theological faculty in Münster in 1827, which earned him a doctorate in theology on February 6, 1834. From 1837 he taught pastoral theology. In 1840 he became cathedral capitular and cathedral pastor, and from 1841 he was employed in church matters under the Eichhorn Ministry in Berlin. He was elected Bishop of Munster on December 13, 1846 . On March 28, 1847 he was confirmed by the Pope and died the next day before his inauguration on March 29, 1847 in the cloister of the cathedral.
