Georg Ludwig Charbonnier

George Louis Charbonnier (* 1678 in Osnabrück , † 4. August 1752 in Wienhausen ) was a German landscape artist of the Baroque .

Georg Ludwig Charbonnier was the son of Martin Charbonnier and the older brother of Ernst August Charbonnier . He was the uncle of Matthias Charbonnier .

Career and work

Georg Ludwig Charbonnier was born in Osnabrück, where his father was in the service of the future Elector Ernst August and his wife Sophie von der Pfalz and was responsible for the residence garden there.

In 1715 he was employed at the Jagdschloss in Wienhausen . There he died at the age of 76.
