Georg Martin Eckert

Georg Martin Eckert (in official documents Georg Martin Eckert III. ) (* April 28, 1807 in Dietzenbach ; † March 5, 1894 ibid) was a Hessian politician and member of the 2nd Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Georg Martin Eckert was the son of Christoph Eckert and his wife Margarethe, nee Knecht. Eckert, who was Protestant, married Maria Margaretha nee Eckert.

From 1856 to 1862 he was a member of the Second Chamber of the Estates. He was elected for the constituency Starkenburg 3 / Langen . From 1843 to 1869 he was mayor of Dietzenbach.
