Georg Mohr (born February 2, 1965 in Maribor ) is a Slovenian chess player and trainer.

He played for Slovenia at six Chess Olympiads : 1992 to 2002 . He also took part in the European team championships three times (1997 to 2001) and in several Mitropa cups (1988, 1995 to 1998 and 2002).

In Austria he played for the SV Tram Graz .

In 1990 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM) and in 1997 the title of Grand Master (GM). Since 2004 he has held the title of FIDE Senior Trainer.
