Georg Reuter (judge)

Georg Ludwig Ernst Reuter (born February 17, 1855 in Höxter ; † November 2, 1930 in Dortmund ) was a German judge.

Life

Reuter studied law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen and was active in the Corps Saxonia Göttingen from Michaelis 1873 . He was reciprocated on June 30, 1874 and Michaelis was inactivated . He moved to the Royal University of Greifswald , where he also became active in the Corps Pomerania Greifswald in 1877 (with Gustav Nachtigal ) . He entered the administration of justice in Prussia and became a district judge in Körlin at the Persante and a district judge at the Hagen district court . After he was district court director in Gleiwitz and at the district court in Halle , he became district court president of the district court Saarbrücken and the district court Berlin (1914). In 1917 he was appointed President of the Naumburg Higher Regional Court. Retired in 1923, he retired in Naumburg (Saale) . He died in Dortmund and left his wife Fanny geb. Goebel .
