Georg Richard Bluhme

Georg Richard Bluhme (born August 14, 1830 in Halle (Saale) ; † December 3, 1875 in Bonn ) was a mine director and member of the Reichstag .

Life

Georg Richard Bluhme was born on August 14, 1830 in Halle an der Saale. His son was the Attorney General Fritz Bluhme . He studied mining science at the University of Bonn and the Bergakademie Freiberg in Saxony.

Bluhme began his mining career with the work for the Prussian State mines in the Saar, he took over the management of " Bergfaktorei Von der Heydt" and the management of the "pit Gerhard" in Püttlingen . He was then transferred as Oberbergrat to the Oberbergamt Bonn , where he was a member of the Bonn City Council . From 1861 to 1866 he was the mine director of the coal mines in Saarbrücken .

In 1874 he was elected to the Reichstag for the constituency of Trier 5 (Saarbrücken) and the National Liberal Party . After his early death at the age of 45, Gustav Pfaehler was elected as his successor to the Reichstag in a replacement election on March 30, 1876 .
