Georgia Kullmann

Georgia Kullmann (born January 19, 1924 in Dresden , † January 23, 2005 in Berlin ) was a German actress .

Life

Kullmann was born in Dresden as the daughter of the actress Karina Balbian and the actor Franz Kullmann . She gained stage experience as a child and studied acting in Dresden from 1942 to 1944. After 1945 she performed in Munich , Görlitz and Cottbus and after 1950 went to Berlin. In film and television she often appeared in comedies from 1955. She was often seen in productions at the Moritzburg TV theater in Halle , e.g. in Der Lampenschirm (1976) by Curt Goetz , Pension Schöller by Carl Laufs and in Paralyzed Schwingen (1981) by Ludwig Thoma . She lived with Robert Trösch , who directed many of her films.
