Gerhard Puschnik (born October 16, 1966 in Feldkirch ) is an Austrian ice hockey player and coach. His son is Kevin Pushnik .

Career as a player

Gerhard Puschnik comes from the offspring of VEU Feldkirch , who played for the senior team from 1982 to 2000. With VEU Feldkirch he became Austrian champion several times and won the EHL 97/98 and the IIHF Super Cup 98 . After a two-year move to EHC Linz , he played again for VEU Feldkirch until 2005 and ended his active playing career there.

Internationally, he played in the Austrian national ice hockey team at the Olympic Winter Games in 1988 , 1994 and 1998 and at the ice hockey world championships at the B-WM 1987 to B-WM 1992 , at the A-WM 1993 to 1996 , at the B-WM 1997 and most recently at the A-WM 1998 .

Gerhard Puschnik took over the coaching position at SC Rheintal in Switzerland for the 1999/2000 season and at EHC Chur for the 2008/09 season , before he worked as a coach in Austria from 2010 to 2016 in the offspring of the EHC Linz and the U20 and U20 teams U18 national ice hockey team worked. He has been the KSV trainer since 2016 .
