Gerlinde Döberl

Gerlinde Döberl (born October 1, 1951 in Linz , Upper Austria , † June 14, 1989 in Thessaloniki , Greece ) was an Austrian actress .

Life

Gerlinde Döberl made her debut in 1967 at the Landestheater Linz , where she was engaged until 1970. She acted here in Ödön von Horváth's Don Juan Comes from the War and in Gerhart Hauptmann's winter ballad .

Then she played in 1974/75 at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna in Alan Ayckbourns Immer, again and again with Peter Vogel . Other theater stations were Fritz Rémonds Theater am Zoo in Frankfurt am Main (1978/79) and the Theater am Dom in Cologne (1980). In 1982 she appeared in George Bernard Shaw's play Heroes at the Little Comedy in Munich .

She took on leading roles in the two Ganghofer film adaptations Schloß Hubertus (1973) and Der Jäger von Fall (1974). After that, she was particularly a series actress, in the crime series IOB - Special Order, she worked 26 episodes as Catherine Burger at the side of Claus Wilcke .

After a serious accident in 1983 that killed her husband, she was unable to continue her career. She was the mother of one daughter and lived in Munich.
