Gerlinde Sämann (* 1969 in Nuremberg ) is an internationally known German soprano . Her repertoire includes compositions from the 9th to the 20th century.

Gerlinde Sämann was born in Nuremberg. She studied piano and singing at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich and also completed a course in respiratory therapy based on the method of Ilse Middendorf .
