Gianfranco Todisco POCR (born March 23, 1946 in Naples ) is an Italian religious and emeritus Roman Catholic Bishop of Melfi-Rapolla-Venosa .

Life

Gianfranco Todisco joined the religious order of the Pii Operai Catechisti Rurali , made his profession on October 4, 1968 and was ordained a priest on December 5, 1970 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Melfi-Rapolla-Venosa on December 13, 2002 . The Apostolic Nuncio in Italy and San Marino , Archbishop Paolo Romeo , donated him episcopal ordination on February 8 of the next year; Co- consecrators were Giuseppe Agostino , Archbishop of Cosenza-Bisignano , and his predecessor Vincenzo Cozzi .

Pope Francis accepted his early resignation on April 21, 2017.
