Gibbs Lecture

The Gibbs Lecture of the American Mathematical Society is an award annually Mathematics price by Josiah Willard Gibbs is named. The prize is awarded not only to mathematicians, but also to physicists, chemists, biologists, physicians and other scientists (such as the economist Samuelson). The award recognizes applications of mathematics.

The award winner will deliver a lecture that will be published in the Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society.
