Giovanni Aparecido Adriano dos Santos (born February 5, 1987 in Bauru , SP ) is a Brazilian soccer player .
Career
Giovanni started his career in the youth team of Marília AC . Here he also made the leap into the professional squad in 2007. But he did not play his first league game until 2009 in the state championship of São Paulo . On January 21, in the game against AD São Caetano , he was on the field from the start. The first use at the international club level took place on August 5, 2010. In the Copa Sudamericana 2010 it went with the Grêmio Barueri against Atlético Mineiro . He was to become his new employer the following year. In 2016, his contract was extended to the end of 2018. In June 2018, Giovanni's early release from Atlético Mineiro became known. The reason it became known was that Mineiro's coach no longer plans with him until the end of the season. Until the end of the year he was without a new contract.
In January 2019, Guarani FC announced the signing of Giovanni. In the course of the current season Giovanni moved to Paysandu SC . In the league in the Série C Giovanni came to no games, but was used in eight in the Copa Verde .
