Giovanni Bresadola (born February 17, 2001 in Cles ) is an Italian ski jumper .

Career

Giovanni, who is Davide Bresadola's younger brother , made his debut in the Alpencup in Hinterzarten at the end of September 2015 . In the following years he competed regularly in this series of competitions.

At the 2017 World Junior Ski Championships in Park City , Bresadola finished 40th in the individual and fifth with the mixed team. A few months later he made his debut in Kranj in the Continental Cup , but clearly missed the points. At the 2018 Junior World Ski Championships in Kandersteg , Switzerland , he improved to 25th place in the individual, but only finished 14th with the team and 13th in the mixed team competition. In August 2018, Bresadola won his first Continental Cup point while jumping in Wisła . At the 2019 Junior World Ski Championships in Lahti , he was 35th and missed the second round. He was twelfth with the team, while he was eighth in the mixed team competition together with Giada Tomaselli , Francesco Cecon and Lara Malsiner .

The summer of 2019 went better for Bresadola. So he reached the second round twice in the competitions in Frenštát pod Radhoštěm in the Continental Cup and was also able to win points in Klingenthal . At the Italian Championships in Predazzo in 2019 , Bresadola also surprisingly won the championship title on the normal hill.
