Gisela Kosubek

Gisela Kosubek (born October 14, 1941 in Breslau ) is a German literary translator .

Life

Gisela Kosubek completed a degree in Nordic studies at the University of Greifswald . From 1969 to 1990 she worked as an editor for Swedish and Finnish literature at Volk und Welt ; she also worked as a translator. Since 1991 she has been a freelance translator of narrative literature and radio plays from Swedish , Norwegian and Danish into German .

Gisela Kosubek lives in Berlin ; she is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ.
