Glasgow Springburn was a constituency for the Scottish Parliament . It was introduced in 1999 as one of ten constituencies in the Glasgow electoral region , which was redesigned as part of the constituencies' revision in 2011 and now only comprises nine constituencies. Here the constituency of Glasgow Springburn was abolished. It included northern Glasgow boroughs, including Barmulloch , Dennistoun , Hogganfield and Springburn . In the 2001 census survey, a total of 68,172 people lived within its borders. Most of the areas of Glasgow Springburn have been incorporated into the new constituencies of Glasgow Maryhill and Springburn and Glasgow Provan . A deputy was sent.
