The Gloggnitzerhütte is a refuge of the Gloggnitz local group of the Austrian Mountain Association section of the PES and is located on the Rax high plateau at 1548  m above sea level. A. in the federal state of Lower Austria .

Originally a holding hut, it was expanded in 1932/34, at which point the hut's current external dimensions were roughly achieved. The owner is the municipality of Vienna and the operator of the ÖGV .

location

The Gloggnitzerhütte is located at the upper end of the Großer Kesselgraben on the Rax. Around one kilometer west of the Großer Höllental or approx. 600 m north-northwest of the Klobentörl at 1548 m.
