The Gmina Kruszwica is an urban and rural municipality in the powiat Inowrocławski of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . Your seat is the historically significant city of the same name ( German Kruschwitz ) with about 9000 inhabitants.
geography
The municipality borders in the north with the rural municipality of Inowrocław and in the south with the Greater Poland Voivodeship . It is located five kilometers southeast of the district town Inowrocław (Hohensalza) in the Pojezierze Gnieźnieńskie (Gnesen Lake District) . Your main town lies at the northern end of the Noteć (networks) through which Gopło (Gopło) .
history
The community was formed in 1973. From 1975 to 1998 it belonged to the Bydgoszcz Voivodeship and came to the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in 1999.

The national road DK62 from Strzelno to Siemiatycze and the voivodship road DW412 to Tupadły run through the main town of Kruszwica .
The long-distance trains of the PKP railway line 131 Chorzów Batory - Tczew do not stop in the municipality. There is no longer any passenger traffic on the PKP railway line 231 Inowrocław Rąbinek– Mogilno .
The nearest international airport is Poznań-Ławica .
