The Gmina Nowe Skalmierzyce is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Ostrowski of the Greater Poland Voivodeship in Poland . In 2010, the seat of Gmina was moved from the town of Nowe Skalmierzyce ( German 1908-20 New Scalmierschütz ) with about 4800 inhabitants to the village of Skalmierzyce ((old) Skalmierschütz) with about 2100 inhabitants.
The Gmina has an area of 125.7 km² and 15,540 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2019).
