The Gmina Nowy Korczyn is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Buski of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city of Nowy Korczyn (formerly Nowe Miasto Korczyn ).
geography
The town-and-country municipality is located about 60 km southeast of Kielce and 20 km southeast of the district town of Busko-Zdrój . The Vistula forms the eastern municipal boundary over a length of 19 km. The eponymous village is located at the mouth of the Nida in the Vistula , over which a ferry runs here. The community today has an agricultural character with almost 70% arable land (grain, potatoes, animal breeding, fruit and vegetable cultivation) and around 10% forest area. Part of the Gmina is part of the Nida Landscape Park .

When Nowy Korczyn was again elevated to the status of a city on January 1, 2019, the rural municipality of Nowy Korczyn became the urban and rural municipality of Nowy Korczyn.
