The Gmina Sława ( German Schlawa ) is a town-and-country municipality in the powiat Wschowski of the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the city ​​of the same name with about 4300 inhabitants.

The municipality is located in historic Lower Silesia and borders the Lower Silesian Voivodeship in the south . The town of Głogów (Glogau) is about 12 kilometers away. The waters include the largest lake in Silesia , the Jezioro Sławskie (Schlawaer See) and 13 other lakes as well as the Czernica (Upper Obra) .
