The Gmina Uście Gorlickie (formerly Gmina Uście Ruskie ) is a rural municipality in the powiat Gorlicki of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is the village of the same name with 1172 inhabitants (2016).

According to the statistics of the 2002 census , 11.63% of the municipality population is Lemken , the largest percentage in Poland.

geography

The municipality is located in the Lower Beskids in the so-called Lemkenland . One of the waters is the Zdynia, which flows into the Ropa , hence the name Uście (Polish for estuary ).
