Gnomes & Trolls (Original title: Gnome Alone ) is a US-American - Canadian - British animated fantasy - comedy film from the year 2017 , that of Peter Lepeniotis staged and Michael Schwartz and Zina Zaflow was written. It is based on a short story by Robert Moreland. Chloé and her mother have to move into an old, dilapidated house that is crammed with lots of little gnomes. When Chloé is home alone after school, she and her curious neighbor Liam discovers that the gnomes are actually alive. And that's just as well! Because as it turns out, the gnomes have been protecting the earth for many years from the trolls who have entered the house through a portal from another world. Chloé and Liam have to team up with the grumpy little gnomes, because only together can they stop the invasion of the trolls and thus possibly save the whole world.
