Hans Bayer (born June 1, 1947 ) is a German actor , singer and voice actor .

Career

Hans Bayer was trained as an actor at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna . He received theater engagements at the Städtische Bühnen Frankfurt , in Osnabrück, Bielefeld, Würzburg, at the Landesbühne Hannover , the Schlosstheater Celle and at the Stadttheater Ulm ; he also worked as a theater director. Bayer has been working as a freelancer since 1986; he embodied Faust , alongside Nikolaus Paryla as Mephisto , Cassius in Julius Caesar , Karl Moor in Schiller's Die Räuber , Florindo in Goldoni's The Servant of Two Lords and Leonhard Vole in Agatha Christie's witness for the prosecution , alongside Karl Schönböck and Johanna Liebeneiner .

Hans Bayer could be seen on television in SOKO 5113 , Die Wache , Lots of Life , Forbidden Love , Lindenstrasse or Everything that counts .

From 1986 Bayer also appeared increasingly as a voice actor for films, series, video games and radio plays. His best-known role is that of Mr. Turner in Cosmo & Wanda - When Elves Help , he also dubbed this role in the real-life adaptations with Drake Bell , where Mr. Turner was played by Daran Norris , who also dubbed the role in the original TV series . He also dubbed actors like Vincent Price , David Carradine , Willem Dafoe and Jeff Daniels . He was often heard as Sheldon J. Plankton for the SpongeBob SquarePants video games . He was also heard in several radio plays, including in Sherlock Holmes or the horror cabinet of Titania Medien.

Hans Bayer lives in Berlin.
