The Goldberg is a 220 meter high, unforested mountain near Alzenau in the Vor Spessart in the district of Aschaffenburg in Bavaria .

geography

The Goldberg is located in the districts of Albstadt and Michelbach directly on the border with Hesse . It is bounded in the west by the valley of the Goldbach . The Eichbach flows to the north and the Weibersbach to the east . In the north-west, the Goldberg passes over flat to the Altenmarkskopf (269 m) at Hof Trages . A high voltage line to the Staudinger power plant runs a little below the summit . The Goldberg vineyard lies on a south-eastern mountain spur .

A street in Albstadt and an Aussiedlerhof in Michelbach are named after the Goldberg .
