The Weibersbach (partly also Albstädter Bach or Michelbach ) is a right tributary of the Kahl in the district of Aschaffenburg in the Bavarian Spessart . It arises in the northeastern part of Albstadt , a district of Alzenau , through the confluence of the Eichbach and Wehmig (also called Wehmigbach).
Surname
The original name of the river Michelbach comes from the old word "mihil" , which means big and the old high German bach . The explanation is bigger brook . He gave the place Michelbach , through which it flows, his name.
geography
Spring streams
Wistful
The Wehmigbach rises at the Metzkopf (351 m) in the Sülzert . It takes on the Ruhgraben, feeds some fish ponds at the tennis courts and flows towards Albstadt. At 3.2 km, it is the longer and richer spring stream.
Eichbach
The 2.2 km long Eichbach rises in Hesse on the grounds of the Hof Trages belonging to Freigericht . There he feeds the artificially created water hazards on the golf course . In Albstadt it joins the Wehmigbach at the sports fields .
course
After the confluence of the source brooks, it flows as the Albstädter Bach through the place where it operated the Albstädter Mühle and reaches Michelbach . There it bears the name Weibersbach and flows between the houses at the Michelbacher Schlösschen . It crosses under the 2305 state road through an underpass and flows into the Kahl .
