Goslarn is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Japons in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Goslarn is located north of Japons and can be reached via the L174 state road.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1130 and was then called Gozlaren .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 31 building areas with 17,021 m² and 42 gardens on 30,487 m² in the cadastral community of Goslarn , in 1989/1990 there were 32 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 139 and in 2009/2010 there were 54 buildings on 126 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 203 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 13 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 201 hectares and 14 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 198 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 14 hectares. The average soil climate number of Goslarn is 39.2 (as of 2010).
