Wenjapons is a village and a cadastral municipality in the municipality of Japons in the Horn district in Lower Austria .

Wenjapons is located south of Japons and can be reached via the L174 state road.

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 38 building areas with 25,823 m² and 75 gardens on 38,801 m² in the cadastral municipality Wenjapons , in 1989/1990 there were 44 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 134 and in 2009/2010 there were 62 buildings on 135 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 355 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 22 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 356 hectares and 22 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 351 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 21 hectares. The average soil climate number of Wenjapons is 38.2 (as of 2010).
