The pocket book of tactics published by ES Mittler & Sohn in 1963 is, according to a review in the General Swiss Military Journal (ASMZ), “very well suited to really being able to be carried as a pocket book”. It gives "very useful tips for the design of the tactical training". About his work The Trojan Horse (1965) it was said: "As a collection of ideas, the ribbon can be recommended to every trainer from the group leader to the battalion commanders."
