Govan Mbeki is a municipality in the Gert Sibande district , Mpumalanga Province in South Africa with its seat in Secunda . Ms. Flora Maboa Boltman is the mayor.

The community is named after Govan Mbeki (1910-2001), a leader of the anti-apartheid movement and member of the African National Congress . It has an area of ​​2955 square kilometers.
