Grünbach is a cadastral community and a village in the market town of Gunskirchen in the Upper Austrian district of Wels-Land .
geography
Grünbach lies between the Hausruck ridge and the foothills of the Alps in the central region of Upper Austria . Grünbach is located 5 kilometers west of the city of Wels and 3 kilometers east of Gunskirchen at an altitude of 345 meters. The cadastral parish is made up of the northeastern part of the parish and covers an area of 7 km². The extension from north to south is 5.1 km and from east to west 2.3 km.
Population development and population
The village had 186 inhabitants in 1990 and 189 in 2001.
Districts
The municipalities of Aichberg, Bichlwimm, Fernreith, Grünbach, Hof, Riethal, Straßern and Vitzing belong to the cadastral community Grünbach. However, only the northern part of the village of Grünbach is in the area of the cadastral community. The southern part lies in the area of the cadastral community of Straß .
