Grasshopper Cup 2017

The Grasshopper Cup 2017 took place from May 3 to 7, 2017 in Zurich , Switzerland . The men's squash tournament was part of the PSA World Tour 2016/17 and belonged to the PSA 100 category .

Last year's winner was Marwan Elshorbagy , who did not participate again. The winner was Grégory Gaultier , who defeated Ali Farag in three sets in the final .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 16 players, four of which were reserved for qualifiers. The eight best players were seeded. Per Wildcard received Nicolas Müller a spot in the main draw.

Prize money and world ranking points

At the tournament, the following prize money and world ranking points were paid out or credited for reaching the respective round. Players who entered the main field from qualification received the specified qualification points in addition to those for reaching the respective round. Otherwise the amounts are not to be understood as cumulative. The total prize pool was $ 100,000.
