history
Green was first mentioned in 1151. Green belonged to the imperial estate of the German kings and was administered and ruled by his ministerial and imperial knight Gerhard von Landskron since 1333 (again confirmed by the German king in 1349 "forever") . Green came as part of the Lohrsdorf community on June 7, 1969 to the city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler, which was newly formed by the Rhineland-Palatinate administrative reform .
schools
There is a primary school in Heimersheim. 140 students from the districts of Ehlingen , Gimmigen , Green, Heimersheim, Heppingen , Kirchdaun and Lohrsdorf are taught in the building, which was built in 1974 . A school kindergarten was also affiliated there until the 2013/14 school year .
