Lohrsdorf is a district and district of the city of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in the Ahrweiler district in Rhineland-Palatinate . The Green district also belongs to the Lohrsdorf district .

history

Lohrsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 828. The current districts of Lohrsdorf and Green belonged to the municipality of Lohrsdorf, which was independent until the Rhineland-Palatinate municipal reform that came into force on June 7, 1969 . The ruins of the Reichsburg Landskron and the Kurl desert (also known as Köhlerhof, today golf course) also belonged to the Lohrsdorf district .

Mayor

Hans-Jürgen Juchem (CDU) became mayor of Lohrsdorf in 1991. In the direct election on May 26, 2019, he was confirmed in his office for a further five years with a share of 80.79% of the votes.

schools

There is a primary school in Heimersheim. 140 students from the districts of Ehlingen , Gimmigen , Green , Heimersheim, Heppingen , Kirchdaun and Lohrsdorf are taught in the building, which was built in 1974 . A school kindergarten was also affiliated there until the 2013/14 school year .

Trivia

Lohrsdorf was the first municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate with a mayor: Maria Hubertine Mülligann (1911–1988) took office in January 1961 and held it until it was incorporated in 1969, after which she was mayor until 1979. Your former tombstone was kept as a memorial stone.
