Greg Shapiro

Gregory Brian Shapiro (born December 16, 1972 in Los Angeles ) is an American film producer and was awarded the Oscar for Best Picture in 2010 for the war drama Deadly Command - The Hurt Locker .

Life

During his third year at UCLA , Greg Shapiro decided to leave college. He became the personal assistant to actor Nick Nolte and through him was given the opportunity to produce two of his films, namely Simpatico and Investigating Sex . Since then, he has been able to produce films such as The Rules of the Game , Harold & Kumar and The Lincoln Conspiracy , and received the Oscar for Best Picture for the war drama Deadly Command - The Hurt Locker .

After the actress Robin Wright divorced her husband Sean Penn , she dated Greg Shapiro for over a year.
