Großkainraths is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Echsenbach municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 36 building areas with 21,756 m² and 29 gardens on 9,621 m² in the cadastral community Großkainraths , in 1989/1990 there were 36 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas increased to 109 and in 2009/2010 there were 39 buildings on 83 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 262 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 82 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 257 hectares and 84 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 252 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 86 hectares. Großkainraths has an average soil climate number of 29 (as of 2010).
