Haimschlag is a cadastral municipality in the Echsenbach municipality in the Zwettl district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there were a total of 35 building areas with 16,682 m² and 31 gardens on 16,240 m² in the cadastral community Heimschlag , in 1989/1990 there were 42 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had grown to 117 and in 2009/2010 there were 64 buildings on 116 building areas.

Land use

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 160 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 42 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 151 hectares and 44 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 144 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 44 hectares. The average soil climate in Heimschlag is 30.5 (as of 2010).
