Curiosities of the text of Bana bana

The text of Bana Bana consisted of only a few sentences, but they were repeated one after the other. The refrain consisted of just one sentence, the individual words of which were repeated over and over again. The refrain was formed by the sentence Bana bunu yapamazsın (“You can't do that to me”), which was broken down into its parts and sung as follows: Bana bana, bana bana, bana bunu bana bunu bana bana, yapamazsın ay ay ay yapamazsın ay ay ay, so to me, to me, to me, to me, to me, to me, you can't do ay ay ay can't you do ay ay ay, whereby the male members of the group must have an olur? (“How can that be?”, For example in the sense of “I ask you, that's not true.”).

The stanzas had four movements that were repeated more often in succession. They were translated:

What if one day he leaves and makes you sad again? (sung twice in a row by the men)
Life will not pass like this when the separation becomes a lover. (sung once by the women)
When he comes, when he makes you sad, when he goes, when he comes back, when he loves? (sung three times in a row by the men)
This time I won't fall for it, I'm not afraid of the breakup (sung once by the women)
