Sibel Tüzün

Sibel Tüzün (born September 29, 1971 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish pop singer . She represented her home country at the 51st Eurovision Song Contest in Athens and achieved eleventh place with the song "Süper star". She performed with a British dance group choreographed by Gary Lloyd and wore a dress made by the famous Turkish fashion designer Erol Albayrak during her performance .

As early as 1990 she tried to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest, but failed in the preliminary decision, where she was only ninth.

Tüzün started her musical education at Radio Istanbul , in 1988 she took the subject "Opera and Concerts" at the Istanbul State Conservatory . After the release of her first album Ah biz kizlar ( We girls ), she made her breakthrough in Turkey, today she is known nationwide. She also works as an actress in various Turkish films and as a photo model .

In 2008 she released a new video clip "Aç Telefonu".
