Pinar Ayhan

Pınar Ayhan (* 1972 in Diyarbakır ) is a Turkish singer .

Ayhan studied English at Hacettepe University in Ankara. Since then she has appeared on the radio and at music competitions and has sung for jazz bands and orchestras. In the Turkish preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest , she came second in 1996 and 1997. In 2000 she won the preselection and was therefore allowed to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 in Stockholm with the pop song Yorgunum . There she was accompanied by the music trio Grup SOS . In the final evaluation, she reached tenth place.
