Guillermo Rodríguez-Melgarejo (born May 20, 1943 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of San Martín .

Life

Guillermo Rodríguez-Melgarejo was ordained a priest on May 23, 1970 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Ucres and auxiliary bishop in Buenos Aires on June 25, 1994 . The Archbishop of Buenos Aires , Antonio Cardinal Quarracino , ordained him episcopal on September 27 of the same year; Co- consecrators were Eduardo Vicente Mirás , Archbishop of Rosario , and José María Arancibia , Coadjutor Archbishop of Mendoza .

On May 30, 2003, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Martín. The ceremonial inauguration ( enthronement ) took place on August 9 of the same year.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on June 15, 2018.
