Guillermo de Amores , full name Guillermo Rafael de Amores Ravelo , (born October 19, 1994 in San Jacinto ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

Depending on the sources, goalkeeper de Amores, who is 1.83 meters or 1.86 meters tall, began playing football at the age of six in his birthplace San Jacinto in baby fútbol at Club Vida Nueva Deportivo San Jacinto . There he played until he was eleven. He also came into the east regional selection based in Pando . The then twelve-year-old was active in the AUFI for Danubio for two years . He was also a member of the team in the Séptima División . At the age of 15, he joined Liverpool Montevideo . He made his debut in the Primera División on December 4, 2011 in the encounter with Nacional Montevideo , when he was substituted on in the 39th minute for the injured Matías Castro . In the Apertura 2011 and Apertura 2012, he was used there once or twice in the league. In the 2013/14 season he was the goalkeeper of the Montevideans and played 29 times in the top Uruguayan league. His club rose at the end of the season in the Segunda División . There he completed 16 second division games in the 2014/15 season and celebrated his promotion to and winning the second division championship at the end of the season. In the 2015/16 season he made two first division appearances. During the 2016 season, he played 14 league games. In the current 2017 season he has been used 21 times in the league and twice in the 2017 Copa Sudamericana (as of August 10, 2017) .

In January 2018, de Amores moved to Boston River . This immediately loaned the goalkeeper to Brazil to the Fluminense Rio de Janeiro . He returned without commitment at the end of June 2019.

National team

De Amores made his debut on November 16, 2010 under coach Fabián Coito in the game against Argentina in the Uruguayan U-17 national team . He was a member of Uruguay's squad at the 2011 U-17 South American Championship in Ecuador and the 2011 U-17 World Cup in Mexico . In Ecuador he played in a tournament game. At the World Cup, he only took on the substitute role and became vice world champion with the Celeste. He played a total of eleven international matches in the U-17, in which he conceded 16 goals.

In the U-20 national team , he was under coach Juan Verzeri for the first time on June 6, 2012 in the 4-2 win against the USA for the first time. De Amores was part of the squad of the Uruguayan U-20 selection at the U-20 South American Championship in Argentina in 2013 and played seven games during the tournament. In July 2013 he was then runner-up with Uruguay at the U-20 World Cup 2013 in Turkey . De Amores was used in seven games at the World Cup and was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament. So far (as of July 8, 2015) he has completed 24 international matches in this age group. He conceded 19 goals in the first 21 international matches.

On May 19, 2015, he was initially nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional U-22 squad at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto . After all, he was on the final squad and won the tournament with the Celeste.
