Gunnar Guillermo Nielsen (born October 12, 1983 in Misiones , Argentina ) is an Argentine football player . He mainly plays in attacking midfield and forward and has been with Hillerød GI since 2014.

Soccer

Career

Nielsen initially spent his youth at the Argentine club CD Guaraní Antonio Franco . After a short trip to Italy to AC Cologna Veneta, he returned to Argentina and played for the Boca Juniors youth team , including with Carlos Tévez . In 2002 he left the team for Denmark and ran for the second division Kolding FC , which was relegated to the end of the season. In the summer Nielsen moved to second division Aarhus Fremad , for whom he played for two years. After the end of the 2003/04 season, however, this also occupied a relegation place and Nielsen moved to ÍF Fuglafjørður .

After moving to the Faroe Islands, Nielsen played for the second team of ÍF in the third division against Skála ÍF II on the eleventh match day of the 2004 season . In a 6-3 home win, Nielsen scored the goal to make it 2-0. On matchday 13 he was used for the first time in the first division , the away game against HB Tórshavn was lost 2: 4. Nevertheless, Nielsen was able to score a goal here as well, he met Skálas for the interim 2-1 lead. He was used regularly until the end of the season. Since ÍF only finished the season in penultimate place, he was also used in the two relegation games against B71 Sandur , the runner-up in the second division . After the 0: 1 defeat in the first leg, a 5: 1 was achieved in the second leg and thus relegation. In the next season the final of the national cup was reached in addition to the premature relegation , which ÍF lost with 1: 4 against GÍ Gøta , with Nielsen succeeded the connection goal to 1: 2. Nielsen moved to GÍ Gøta the following year and played most of the season's games for the new club. Another year later he ran for the league rivals KÍ Klaksvík , for which he played all league games.

In 2008 Nielsen moved to the Danish second division club FC Fredericia , for which he played for two years. In early 2010 he moved to league rivals Kolding FC, which merged with Vejle BK after the 2010/11 season . Nielsen's contract was not renewed, so he then moved to the third division Kristianstads FF in the Swedish Division 1 . In December 2011 Nielsen moved to the second division side Östers IF , but was transferred to the third division in Denmark to IF Skjold Birkerød the following summer . In 2014 Nielsen moved to the lower class Danish club Hillerød GI.

European Cup

In 2006 Nielsen played with GÍ Gøta in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Cup against FK Ventspils and lost the games 2-1 and 2-0. A year later he was eliminated with KÍ Klaksvík in the first round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup against Hammarby IF with 0-1 and 1-2.
