Gustav Müller (actor)
Gustav Müller (born August 9, 1919 in Cologne , † May 11, 1980 in Berlin ) was a German actor and cabaret artist .
Life
Gustav Müller was born in Cologne as the son of an actor and director. Here he also attended school. From 1944 he began studying drama in Vienna , which he had to interrupt because of his conscription to the Wehrmacht and commanding a "front theater". After the Second World War he received additional singing training and appeared in several operetta theaters before he discovered his love for cabaret. The list below contains an almost complete list of his engagements. Gustav Müller was one of the founders of the Berlin cabaret "Die Distel" in 1953, to which he belonged until 1978. From 1953 onwards he also achieved great popularity through the radio program " Da lacht der Bär ", which was also broadcast on German television from 1955 to 1965 .
Gustav Müller was buried in the cemetery in Eichwalde near Berlin.
