Gustavo Aprile , full name Gustavo Javier Aprile Retta , (born August 10, 1988 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .
Career
society
The 1.82 meter tall midfielder Aprile was at the beginning of his career since the Apertura 2009 in the squad of the Uruguayan first division team Racing . In the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons he played in five and eleven games of the Primera División, respectively . He didn't score a goal. For the 2011/12 season he left the Montevideans and moved on to Club Atlético Bella Vista within the city limits . After 22 first division appearances (no goal), he moved to Italy for AS Bari at the end of August 2012 . For the Italians, he only played five games (no goal) in Serie B in the 2012/13 season . He returned to Uruguay in early January 2014. In the Clausura 2014, the first division club Cerro Largo FC from the eastern part of the country was his employer. 15 league appearances (one goal) show the statistics for him with the team that was relegated to the Segunda División at the end of the season. At Apertura 2014 he moved to the first division promoted Rampla Juniors . In the Apertura 2014 he was used 13 times (two goals) in the top Uruguayan league. In mid-January 2015 he moved to Argentina to the Club Atlético Temperley . There he played in 21 first division games (one goal) and one game (no goal) of the Copa Argentina . In the first days of January 2016, he joined the first division club Liverpool Montevideo . So far (as of August 11, 2017) he has played 47 top division games (four goals) and two encounters (no goal) in the 2017 Copa Sudamericana for the Montevideans .
National team
Aprile was a member of the Uruguayan U-16 team coached by Ángel Castelnoble and Gustavo Ferrín , which took part in the U-16 South American Championship in Paraguay in 2004 and finished fourth. With the U-17 national team of Uruguay , he was also under Ferrín at the U-17 South American Championship 2005 in Venezuela vice-South American champions.
