Guy Bagnard

Guy-Marie Claude Bagnard (born April 14, 1937 in Montceau-les-Mines ) is former bishop of Belley-Ars .

Life

Guy Bagnard was ordained a priest on June 29, 1965 . John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Belley on July 8, 1987 .

The Archbishop of Lyon , Albert Florent Augustin Cardinal Decourtray , donated him episcopal ordination on October 4th of the same year ; Co - consecrators were Robert-Joseph Coffy , Archbishop of Marseille , and Louis Pierre Joseph Cornet , Bishop of Meaux .

His motto is Ut unum sint . On June 15, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI. his age-related retirement.
