Héctor Rafael Rodríguez Rodríguez MSC (born January 13, 1961 in Sánchez , Samaná province ) is a clergyman from the Dominican Republic and Roman Catholic Bishop of La Vega .
Life
Héctor Rafael Rodríguez Rodríguez joined the religious order of Sacred Heart Missionaries and was ordained a priest on 1989 .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of La Vega on February 23, 2015. The Archbishop of Santo Domingo , Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez , donated him the episcopal ordination on May 9th of the same year. Co-consecrators were his predecessor Antonio Camilo González and Valentin Reynoso Hidalgo , auxiliary bishop in Santiago de los Caballeros .
