Antonio Camilo González
Antonio Camilo González (born February 7, 1938 in Salcedo ) is Bishop Emeritus of La Vega .
Life
Antonio Camilo González was ordained a priest for the diocese of La Vega on July 1, 1962 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of La Vega on October 10, 1992. The episcopal ordination donated him the Archbishop of Santo Domingo , Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez , on December 8th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Hugo Eduardo Polanco Brito , Archbishop ad personam of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia en Higüey , and Juan Antonio Flores Santana , Bishop of Santiago de los Caballeros .
Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on February 23, 2015.
